Paolo Venini (1895-1959) was an Italian glass designer and entrepreneur, best known for his significant contributions to the field of Murano glass. Born on October 8, 1895, in Cusano Milanino, Italy, Venini's passion for art and craftsmanship led him to become one of the most influential figures in the world of glass design.

Venini began his career in the early 1920s when he joined the Murano glass company Cappellin Venini & C. Initially, he worked as a salesman and later as a designer, quickly showcasing his talent and innovative approach to glassmaking. His collaboration with the renowned sculptor Napoleone Martinuzzi resulted in the creation of unique glass pieces that combined traditional techniques with modern aesthetics.
