Barbara Kiskovski
Barbara Kiskovski is a French self-taught mixed-media artist residing in London, UK. Kiskovski works with large-scale abstract and textured works on canvas, where she integrates her background in computer sciences and mathematics to explore spatial dynamics in her art. By exploring materials and their application such as plaster, acrylics, gold leaves, and spray paints on canvas and mirrors, Kiskovski re-interprets the canvas through three-dimensional effects of the artworks, drawing inspiration from the Spatial Art movement, as well as addressing classical art critic theory.
As Kiskovski says, “ I believe that texture is also an essential element in art. I love exploring different textures and many of my paintings

As Kiskovski says, “ I believe that texture is also an essential element in art. I love exploring different textures and many of my paintings feature that element. ”
Barbara Kiskovski emphasizes the language of abstraction. For her, it is an important emotional feature and vehicle; an international language that can transcend over cultures. “To be able to share this passion with other people is something I am extremely grateful for. It’s a very special feeling when a complete stranger loves an abstract piece you created entirely from scratch and from your imagination.”
Barbara Kiskovskis work is represented in private and corporate collections in North America, United Kingdom and in Europe.
