Archimede Seguso (1909-1999) was an Italian master glassblower and designer, renowned for his exceptional contributions to the field of glass art. Born on March 1, 1909, in Murano, Venice, Seguso hailed from a long line of glassmakers, with his family having been involved in the glass industry since the 14th century.

Seguso began his career in the family business, Seguso Vetri d'Arte, which was founded by his father Antonio Seguso in 1902. Under the guidance of his father and other skilled artisans, Archimede Seguso quickly developed his talent and passion for glassblowing.
