J. Anthony Redmile was a renowned British furniture and decorative arts designer, best known for his unique and extravagant creations. Born in 1930 in London, England, Redmile developed a passion for art and design from a young age.

Redmile's career in the world of design began in the 1950s when he started working for the prestigious firm, Colefax and Fowler. During his time there, he gained valuable experience and honed his skills in furniture design. However, it was his ability to infuse humor and whimsy into his creations that set him apart from his contemporaries.
