About Guillerme et Chambron

Guillerme et Chambron was a French furniture design partnership formed by Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron. They are renowned for their innovative and distinctive approach to furniture design during the mid-20th century.

Robert Guillerme was born in 1913 in Lyon, France. He initially trained as a lawyer but soon discovered his passion for furniture design. In 1949, he established his own workshop in Lyon, where he began creating unique pieces of furniture.

Jacques Chambron, on the other hand, was born in 1914 in Paris, France. He studied architecture and interior design before joining Guillerme's workshop in 1949. The two quickly realized their shared vision and complementary skills, leading to the formation of their partnership.
