Roger Capron (1922-2006) was a renowned French ceramic artist and designer who played a significant role in the development of 20th-century furniture and decorative arts. He is best known for his innovative and distinctive ceramic creations, which combined functionality with artistic expression.

Born on September 4, 1922, in Vincennes, France, Capron showed an early interest in art and craftsmanship. He studied at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, where he honed his skills in ceramics and gained a deep understanding of design principles. After completing his studies, he embarked on a journey to explore various artistic techniques and traditions.
