About Dimitri Hadzi

Dimitri Hadzi (October 21, 1921 – April 19, 2006) was an American artist and sculptor known for his contributions to the field of decorative arts. Born in New York City, Hadzi developed a passion for art at a young age and went on to establish himself as a prominent figure in the art world.

Hadzi's artistic journey began with his studies at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where he honed his skills in sculpture and drawing. He later pursued further education at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, France, under the guidance of renowned sculptor Ossip Zadkine.
