Born on January 10, 1922, in Denmark, Larsen developed a passion for design at a young age. Larsen studied at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen, where he honed his skills in furniture design and architecture. After completing his education, he began his career as an architect, working for various firms in Denmark. In the 1950s, Larsen shifted his focus to furniture design and quickly gained recognition for his unique and contemporary designs. Throughout his career, Larsen collaborated with several renowned Danish furniture manufacturers, including Faarup Møbelfabrik, Fritz Hansen, and Selig. His designs were characterized by their attention to detail, craftsmanship, and use of high-quality materials.
