About Andreas Tuck

Andreas Tuck (1918-2004) was a Danish furniture designer and architect known for his contribution to the mid-century modern movement. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Tuck showed an early interest in design and pursued his passion by studying architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

After completing his studies in 1943, Tuck began working as an architect, designing residential and commercial spaces. However, it was his foray into furniture design that would bring him recognition and establish his legacy. Tuck's designs were characterized by their clean lines, functionalism, and minimalistic aesthetic, which became synonymous with the mid-century modern style.
