In the early 1980s, Goor established her own studio and gallery in Jaffa, a historic port city in Israel. This became the hub of her creative endeavors, where she produced a wide range of artistic works, from furniture and lighting fixtures to sculptures and mixed-media installations. Goor's unique artistic style is characterized by a fusion of organic and industrial elements. Her furniture designs often feature bold, geometric shapes combined with natural materials such as wood and stone. She is known for incorporating found objects and salvaged materials into her creations, adding a sense of history and storytelling to her pieces. Throughout her career, Goor has exhibited her works in prestigious galleries and museums around the world. Her art can be found in private collections, as well as in public spaces and institutions. She has also collaborated with renowned architects and interior designers on various projects, creating custom-made furniture and decorative pieces. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Goor is also a philanthropist and a passionate advocate for the arts. She has established the Ilana Goor Museum in Jaffa, which showcases her own works alongside a collection of contemporary art by other Israeli and international artists. Ilana Goor's contributions to the world of furniture and decorative arts have earned her numerous accolades and awards. Her innovative designs and artistic vision continue to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
